In short
What does Gyne do after birth?
After birth, Gyne guides your recovery week by week, matched to how you gave birth. It tracks bleeding and healing with warning signs, checks your mood at week 2 with support, adds breastfeeding food and water targets with no weight goals before your 6-week checkup, logs feeds, diapers and baby sleep, and restarts cycle tracking when your period returns.
What you get
Recovery guide
Week by week, for a vaginal birth or a C-section.
Baby logs
Feeds, diapers and baby sleep in a couple of taps.
Mood check
A trusted screening at week 2, and support if you need it.
Pelvic floor
Simple exercises and a gradual return to movement.
Breastfeeding targets
Higher food and water targets, and no weight goals before your checkup.
Cycles, when they return
Gyne knows you gave birth, so the gap isn't counted as a cycle.
Ask & Adapt in action
You've logged low mood for two weeks. Gyne gently offers a short, validated screening, explains what the result means, and shows you where to get support.
Warning signs after birth
Heavy bleeding, fever, chest pain, trouble breathing, a severe headache or thoughts of harming yourself need care now. Gyne shows an alert the moment you log them.
Frequently asked questions
How long does postpartum recovery take?
Most people feel much better by around 6 weeks, but full recovery can take months, especially after a C-section. Your 6-week checkup is a good time to talk about how you feel.
Is it normal to feel low after having a baby?
Many people have the baby blues in the first two weeks. If low mood lasts longer or feels heavy, it could be postpartum depression, which is common and treatable. Talk to your doctor.
Can I track feeds and diapers in Gyne?
Yes. Feeds, diapers and baby sleep are quick logs designed for one hand and little sleep.
When will my period come back after birth?
It varies a lot, especially if you're breastfeeding. Gyne restarts cycle tracking when you log your first period.
