Is my data safe with Gyne?

Gyne never sells or shares your data, and the app has no Meta or Google ad trackers and no ads. Your data travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). It is not end-to-end encrypted, because our servers update your predictions. App lock, discreet mode, neutral notifications, export and deletion are all free, for everyone.

What we promise

Controls in the app

  • App lock

    A PIN, plus Face ID, Touch ID or fingerprint if your phone has it.

  • Discreet mode

    Switch the app icon to Planner or My notes.

  • Hide in the app switcher

    Gyne's screen is covered when you switch apps.

  • Neutral notifications

    Lock-screen text never says what a reminder is about. Red flags are never sent as notifications.

What we don't claim

  • Your data travels to our servers over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
  • This isn't end-to-end encryption. Our servers can read your data so they can update your predictions.
  • We'll only add a promise, like encryption at rest, once it's built and true.

This website

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from third parties. If you join early access, we keep your email only to tell you about the launch.

Does Gyne sell my health data?

No. We never sell or share your data. There are no ad trackers and no ads in the app.

Can other people see that I use Gyne?

You can lock the app, change its icon to Planner or My notes, hide it in the app switcher, and every notification uses neutral text.

Can I delete my data?

Yes, anytime and for free. Deleting removes your account and everything in it, on our servers and on your phone.

Is Gyne end-to-end encrypted?

No, and we won't pretend it is. Data travels encrypted over HTTPS, and our servers read it to update your predictions.
